3 Reasons the Golden State Warriors should sign Jabari Parker

1. Depth

If Parker would be willing to play in the Bay at a discount, the Warriors need to jump at the chance. Aside from Kevon Looney, Andre Iguodala and occasionally Quinn Cook, the Warriors struggled for bench production and as shown by his year in the capital Parker is capable of adding impetus off the bench.

The Dubs ranked towards the bottom of the league in bench production last season and could be set to experience worse issues with Cook and Looney free agents while Iguodala has been traded to Memphis. Parker could be a much-needed boost.

Parker is capable at fulfilling a role at both forward positions and that may prove useful to coach Steve Kerr who has a lack of options at the small forward position, Parker could immediately back up Alfonso McKinnie.
