The Golden State Warriors are going to eventually trade D’Angelo Russell, and here are five potential hauls they could get in return.

Although it seems like the Golden State Warriors just got D’Angelo Russell, reports are saying that the team doesn’t plan to keep the stud 23-year-old. The fit may work for a while but will likely be less than ideal.

Last season, Russell averaged 21.1 points per game on the Brooklyn Nets’ main scoring threat. However, he’s since been replaced with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Durant’s exodus is what brought the possibility of a Russell-to-Golden State trade.

Andre Iguodala was also caught in the crossfire of all this, being traded to Memphis in an attempt to clear space for Russell. Overall, the Warriors dealt Iggy and two first-round picks to secure Russell. They also lost Durant.

That doesn’t mean this offseason was a colossal failure. Many have considered the 2019 offseason a successful one given the predicament Golden State was in. That said, the Warriors can’t trade Russell still at least November.

If they do eventually trade the All-Star guard, here are five viable trade options for the Golden State Warriors.
