Wizards

The Golden State Warriors still have their championship window open. They can still continue to get to the Finals, something they’ve done for the past five straight seasons. But, with Russell on the roster, both those are up in the air.

Does he fit will? Will his style mesh with Curry and Thompson? As aforementioned, even if it does, they’ll falter defensively. This team could make a trade for Bradley Beal, a highly coveted star shooting guard.

Beal averaged over 25 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds per game last season. Russell wouldn’t be enough to lure the Wizards into their deal. They’d need to include young pieces like Evans III or Damian Jones.

The Warriors need a bit more talent to be the favorite in the West. With Beal helping lead the Dubs, they’d easily return to being the league’s most feared team. And, to be fair, if they thought that highly of Jones or Evans III, they’d have given them meaningful postseason minutes.
