Magic

The Orlando Magic are a few years away from truly competing. With Mo Bamba, Jonathon Isaac, Markelle Fultz and Chuma Okeke, the Magic are laced with talent, and now, all they need is someone to take them to the next level.

Averaging over seven assists per game last season, that player could be D’Angelo Russell. He’s a solid scoring guard yet can also create for his teammates. Russell isn’t overly efficient, but he can do just about everything on the offensive end.

As for the Magic, it seems like they have multiple pieces yet no real leader. Let Russell take that team over.

For Golden State, they’d get an elite shooter in Fournier and a solid young athlete in Aaron Gordon to steady that youth movement they so desperately crave.

Yet to take his game to the next level, Gordon could thrive as the Warriors small forward in a team that oftentimes goes small. Just from a fit perspective, Gordon seems like he’d be a better addition than Russell. Gordon averaged 16.0 points per game last season.
