4. Jordan Poole

The only reason he isn’t higher is because of his size or lack thereof. The Warriors have a dramatic need for help at the 3, and unless they decide to go small, he’s going to be the 8th or 9th man in for now.

Jordan Poole showed several times at the University of Michigan he’s capable of hitting the big shot. In NBA Summer League, his threes, mid range game, and ability to get to the basket were all on display.

He can create his own shot, and off the bench, he should have opportunities to score in spurts when his number gets called on. His isolation skillset should be extremely valuable.

3. Eric Paschall

A constant theme of this year, the 3-spot is a major puzzle on this team and the biggest need, which is why Eric Paschall will have a chance to make the biggest impact among the rookies, despite being drafted last.

Early in the season, he’ll have a chance to prove he’s better than Glenn Robinson III and Alfonzo Mckinnie. He has the most size among 3’s at 6foot8 and 255 pounds, and he can shoot the ball at a decent percentage, which he did in college at Villanova at 33.1% per Sports Reference.

As a rookie, he’ll have the opportunity to push for a starting job, and you bet Steve Kerr will want to give him plenty of chances to do that.
