This may be the end of an era for the Golden State Warriors. Let’s look back and see where the Dubs rank among the greatest dynasties in NBA history.

This decade has been dominated by the Golden State Warriors. Five trips to the NBA Finals, three championships and two MVP winners in five seasons is one hell of a ride. But, how does this streak compare to that of other legendary dynasties?

The Warriors may be facing the end of their reign here. Kevin Durant is gone and Klay Thompson has suffered a devastating ACL injury. To top it off, veteran role players such as Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston have departed as well.

With the Dubs future in jeopardy, let’s take a moment to look back at how great they have been. The trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have accomplished quite a bit in recent years.

Today, we are going to rank seven of the best dynasties in NBA history. We will look at the best team from each decade, excluding only the 1970’s as no franchise truly dominated that era at any point.
