Klay Thompson as Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo)

For Klay Thompson, there may not be a better comparison than Dustin Henderson, who is played by Gaten Matarazzo. With a critical role throughout the entire show, Dustin helped create the plan in the final episode to get into the Russian’s secret lab.

A member of the Scoops Troop, Dustin plays a different style of character, a smarter, more calm character. As we can recall, when Caleb and Mike fought, who separated the two and mended their relationship?

Also, we cannot forget Dustin’s singing to Suzie to get Planck’s constant in order to even get into the room that ultimately helped close the gate.

Klay Thompson plays a similar style. He plays basketball differently. He scored over 50 points on 29 shots that included 14 made threes. He plays the game smarter and is overall an extremely unique player.

As for the relationship aspect, when Green and Durant got into it, there’s no solid report, but you can bet Thompson was in there helping calm the tensions. He’s always had a level-headed player in high-intensity situations.

And, to be fair, if you had to pick a member of Stranger Things to be drinking a beer (when they come of age) following the defeat of the Demogorgon like Thompson has done in post-game interviews, it has to be Dustin.
