Stephen Curry and LeBron James have been dueling for years, but who has had the upper hand?
Though Stephen Curry may not be viewed as LeBron James’ biggest rival, no other superstar player has matched up against James in the NBA Finals more than Curry. Battling a total of four times in the championship round, Curry and James have a deep history.
Part of what makes these two stars so interesting is they are almost complete opposites of each other on the court. Curry is finesse and accuracy where James is brute strength and athleticism. Regardless of how they go about playing, there is no doubt that they are two of the best players to ever suit up.
The argument between Curry and James first began in the 2015-16 season, when Steph had his miraculous MVP season. For the first time in a very long time, James had his title of “best player in the league” threatened.
