Miami Heat

The Heat are another team looking to pair two stars together, as they acquired Jimmy Butler this offseason from the 76ers.

With Goran Dragic running the point for them, they could certainly use an upgrade to vault Miami into playoff contention. The dynamic between the two stars would be interesting to see, as Butler has been known to cause tension among his teammates.

The Heat have some large contracts that could make a deal possible, but they will likely have to include a few draft picks, which they don’t have a lot of. That’s the problem with any potential deal involving Miami.

Since they traded Josh Richardson and a solid amount of picks, it’d different to see them having the assets that it would take to make a reasonable offer. However, we’ve seen stranger things from Pat Riley and his management.

The goal for Golden State is to get high-value and solid veteran’s to fit their system.
