Golden State Warriors: 4 potential trade destinations for D’Angelo Russell
By Braden Reed
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls have a promising young core that’s surrounded with plenty of uncertainty. The team should highly consider secruing a developing star that’d catapult them to the top of a weak Eastern Conference.
Otto Porter Jr. and Zach Lavine have yet to truly develop into the stars they were expected to become.
That said, a roster mix-up could be exactly what Chicago needs to become a true playoff contender, something the Bulls haven’t been since the dynamic duo of Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler.
D’Angelo Russell and rookie Coby White could become a dominating duo in a few year’s time, so don’t rule out the Windy City as a possible landing spot. Chicago has the assets to trade him for and a few players that Golden State could crave like Porter Jr. or Lauri Markkanen.
Whether it ends up being someone like Lavine or Porter Jr., Chicago has a number of assets available to make a play for Russell.
