C.J. Miles

Signing an $8.7 million, one-year contract with the Washington Wizards, C.J. Miles will be a main target on the buyout market this upcoming season. At the same time, Washington, with John Wall‘s return, may actually thrive in a relatively weak Eastern Conference.

Assuming they don’t, Miles would be one of the few players on the move, and while taking on his contract may not be ideal, the team may be able to find a way to make it possible. It’s likely he’s bought out though if the Wizards’ season tanks.

Like Morris, Miles would be another offensive force for Golden State. Just a few seasons ago with the Indiana Pacers, Miles shot 41.3% from deep, averaging 2.2 threes per game. While he did drop off last esason, the 32-year-old just needs the right opportunity to thrive.

Golden State, alongside an unselfish trio of players, would be that opportunity. Defensively, Miles isn’t among the upper echelon of the league and that could be a reason the Dubs shy away from considering him in any trade.

Miles is certainly more of a buyout target than a trade target, but his addition would be welcome sight for the Dubs.
