6. Orlando Magic

First on our list is a potential deal with the Orlando Magic. The Magic surprised everyone last season by reaching the NBA Playoffs. Behind a breakout season from their sole All-Star, Nikola Vucevic, the Magic likely reached their peak as a seven-seed in the Eastern Conference.

One thing they have been counting on is the development of Aaron Gordon. For a brief moment, it looked as if Gordon could blossom into an All-Star. Unfortunately, Gordon took a step back last season. Despite playing more minutes, he averaged less points and rebounds per game than in the previous season.

Though Gordon may never be good enough to take the Magic to the next level, he can be a very valuable contributor for the Golden State Warriors. Gordon has promise as a 3-point shooter, hitting nearly two 3-pointers a game last year on 34.9 percent shooting. He is also a decent playmaker for his position, coming off a career-high 3.7 assists per game.

Aaron’s athleticism and versatility would make him an easy fit for the Warriors. Meanwhile, D.J. Augustin helps the Dubs add some extra depth at the point guard position. Currently, the Warriors have no backup for Stephen Curry, unless they plan on reserving D-Lo to a bench role.

In exchange, the Magic receive a young All-Star guard to pair with their already established big man. This duo is a definite upgrade from what they currently have and would put Orlando only a few moves away from building a true contender.
