1. Klay Thompson full recovery

The most important thing on this list, the fate of the Golden State Warriors rests on Klay Thompson’s shoulders.

Klay has been one of the best sidekicks in league history. Playing alongside Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, Klay has sacrificed his role for the team’s success. Even in his decreased position, Thompson produces at a high level and has even bailed the team out in certain games.

There is no substituting Thompson’s 3-point shooting. To keep it simple, he is one of the two greatest 3-point shooters of all-time, behind only Curry. Combine his shooting with his elite perimeter defense and Thompson has a profound impact on the Warriors.

A torn ACL is no joke. This injury could easily end Thompson’s career. Luckily, his playstyle would suggest that this injury shouldn’t be as devastating as it could have been. Assuming Thompson makes a full recovery, the Warriors will be competing for a championship this season.
