7. Bench production

Last season, the Golden State Warriors fell apart in the NBA Finals. After a series of unfortunate events led to multiple Warriors falling with severe injuries, the Dubs roster was left gutted.

In years prior, the Dubs would have plenty of talent on the bench to step up and fill in for the injured players. Sadly, their bench has taken a huge hit recently and was getting run off the floor all year long.

The Warriors ranked as one of the worst teams in the league for bench scoring, a stark contrast to their 2015-16 season when they were one of the best. This undoubtedly had an impact on the result of their season.

Now, with a much more youthful bench, the Dubs will be counting on their second unit once again. If the Warriors get some much-needed production out of their reserve players, this season will be a lot smoother.
