5. Draymond Green’s shooting

Draymond Green is a unique player. In many ways, his versatility on both ends of the floor unlocked the Golden State Warriors full potential and created their patented “death lineup”.

There’s no doubt that Green is still a capable playmaker and defender. In the 2019 NBA Playoffs, Green showed us that he can do it all by racking up a career-high seven triple-doubles in the postseason.

Despite this, Green struggled to shoot all year long and it never got better. Shooting a poor 28.5 percent from deep, the Warriors had to deal with a shrunken floor when Green was on the court. It got so bad that opponents wouldn’t even bother defending him behind the 3-point line.

The Dubs will need Green to hit more consistently from deep this year. They can’t afford to sacrifice spacing anymore, especially without Kevin Durant or Klay Thompson. This is the first thing on our list that is a necessity this year.
