The Golden State Warriors are in a better longterm position than Kevin Durant.

Kevin Durant made a controversial decision to leave his home with the Golden State Warriors and join the Brooklyn Nets. Durant will join players such as Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan as he attempts to win a third championship.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are loading up for their fourth title in six years. The core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green has already accomplished more than enough but are hungry to win more.

Adding D’Angelo Russell to this Warriors team is all they needed to remain competitive. Holding the team above .500 should be no issue with D-Lo in the lineup as the Warriors await the full recovery of Thompson.

Once the Dubs are at full strength, it will be tough for any team to beat them. They are stacked with talent and championship experience. If you’re doubting them, it would be best to change your mind now.

As for the Nets, they have a ton of questions surrounding their season. For starters, Durant has been ruled out of the 2019-20 NBA season, pushing their championship hopes back at least a year.

If Durant does return at full strength, they have the task of acclimating Durant to a team led by Irving. Neither one of these stars have a very good track record as leaders as of late, making it interesting to see which one steps up.

The Nets also have a level of inexperience that will surely come into play. Few players on the roster have proven to be capable of winning on the highest level. This means Durant and Irving have the responsibility of leading the rest of the team.

dark. Next. Curry will prove he is a top 3 player this season

It seems like the Dubs are poised to win another championship before Durant. I guess we will wait and see if this comes true or not.
