Eric Paschall: 20 minutes per game

Of the three Warriors rookies this season, Eric Paschall is the odds-on favorite ready to contribute right away. After four college seasons (three with Villanova, including an NCAA Championship) many have likened his skillset to that of Draymond Green. Paschall’s physique and impact are believed to be NBA-suited from day one.

The goal for him will likely not be looking for playing time, but increasing it. Green made his fortune doing the dirty work, not always increasing his point totals but making up for it on the defensive end and getting rebounds.

Paschall can do the same thing, and if he achieves that he’ll be relied upon heavily. If Paschall averages a healthy 20 minutes per game, it can help ease the load off of Draymond Green and some of the other older veterans.

This will be important for the Dubs as they need to find some defensive strength somewhere. The team will be hurting without Kevin Durant or Klay Thompson and this is a chance for Paschall to step in and help.
