3. Nov 13 – Lakers’ Anthony Davis + LeBron James duo

The Golden State Warriors get their first regular-season look at the other Los Angeles behemoth on November 13 against the Lakers. It won’t be their first look given that the two teams will meet for four of their five preseason matchups.

Keep an eye on if Anthony Davis and LeBron James can carry a team that otherwise is lacking in depth. The roster is solid, but aside from their starters, they may struggle to get production. Can they be solely led by the two stars?

If it’s anything like we saw in the first preseason matchup, there’s no reason to expect the Lakers can’t be a top-tier, championship-contending team with those two at the helm. But, with James’ injury history, it’ll be a matchup to watch.

It is crucial that the Dubs come into this game with a healthy frontcourt, as the Lakers have some serious size upfront with James, Davis, Javale McGee, and Dwight Howard. Willie Cauley-Stein will play a crucial role in this game.
