4. Nov. 19 – Iguodala’s debut against his old squad

After a storied run on the Golden State Warriors for six years, Dubs fans got a reminder that basketball is business as they watched fan-favorite Andre Iguodala get traded to Memphis in a salary dump to make way for D’Angelo Russell.

Even now, we can see that it’s a business with what’s going on in the NBA-China fiasco. That said, should Iguodala remain a Grizzly, this is when he will face off against his former teammates for the first time.

There is always the chance that the Grizzlies trade or buy out Iggy before this game, but if he is still with Memphis, it will be an emotional moment to watch him guard his good friends and former teammates like Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

Curry has already noted how it feels weird without Iguodala around, and it’ll be a game that all diehard fans must have scheduled. However, it won’t be a primetime matchup so fans not in the area may have trouble getting this matchup.
