5. February 5 – D-Lo returns to Brooklyn

The Warrior have to wait until 2020 to match up against Brooklyn, the team with which they completed the blockbuster trade that swapped Kevin Durant for D’Angelo Russell.

There are multiple levels of intrigue for this game:

Will D’Angelo Russell feel like he has something to prove because the Nets decided to go with Kyrie Irving instead of him this offseason?

How will the crowd receive D-Lo? Surely there will be an ovation for his successful 2018-19 season on Brooklyn.

Will the injured KD be in the building? This could create some interesting dynamics as KD meets with his former teammates for the first time on a court.
