Green to the Blazers

Most teams have the talent and picks it’d take to secure Draymond Green. Portland certainly does, and they need to make a move to get into championship contention before the dominance of Damian Lillard runs out.

The Warriors don’t want their championship-life to end, so if they secure any trade, it’s going to be a combination of potential prospects and picks. From Portland, securing Zach Collins and Anfernee Simons is enough of a load, but then a first-round pick is the icing on the cake.

The 6-foot-4, 20-year-old Simons is in his second season in the league. He’s averaging 8.0 points through the first five games. He has the potential to be a star and then you include Collins who showed growth throughout the 2019 postseason.

Green is the type of player that can elevate a team to a championship contender, and the Trail Blazers are just one player away. Green, who is a dominant defender, can be the frontcourt player they’ve been missing.

This seems like a win-win trade.
