Green to the Nuggets

The Golden State Warriors are going to push a hard bargain for Green. Why? Well, it’s simple. A championship-contending team needs Green to complete their roster. And, the Warriors, in return, need that potential.

Rookie Michael Porter Jr., who was the last lottery pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, finished his long-awaited debut with 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting. He looked terrific in his opener even in limited minutes.

If healthy, Porter Jr. could be the league’s next superstar. Could and healthy are the two keys that make him a tradable option. The Warriors need him as a true three or a stretch four, something the Dubs would be trading away in Green.

The Nuggets have a few powerful and elite players on their team. Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris, Jamal Murray, and others would thrive around Green and his unselfish play style.
