Green to the Magic

There are only a handful of teams looking to go all-in right now.

The Orlando Magic may be one of them. However, it seems more likely that the Magic would prefer to take their chances on their young guns. The Magic are 2-4 throughout their first six games and could easily be in contention in the lacking East.

They have a good young core that would be appealing to Golden State too.

Jonathan Isaac, the sixth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, has taken a step forward in his third season. He’s averaging 11.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game early on in the season. Isaac plus numerous other assets make up the ideal trade partner.

Adding Augustin and a pick to the deal allow the Warriors to get a quality backup for when Curry returns and a future first-round pick. All-in-all, it would be tough for Orlando to give up on Isaac this early into in his career, but securing a three-time All-Star could be enough to persuade them.
