Many of the veterans that the Golden State Warriors signed this offseason will see their skillset shown to all the league while with Dub Nation.

The Golden State Warriors had little room to spend as they looked to fill out their roster this past offseason. That’s how the likes of Willie Cauley-Stein, Alec Burks, Glenn Robinson III, and others ended up on their roster.

However, many of these veterans have been pleasant surprises for Golden State.

Their experience with Golden State and how they’ve handled their time in the starting lineup could pay dividends as many signed one-year deals. Both Burks and Robinson III will look to build off their opportunity in order to chase that next contract.

Robinson III has done exactly that to start the season.

He’s averaging 10.9 points per game which is almost double his previous career-high of just 6.1 points. It’s not just his scoring though; it’s his efficiency. At 47%, Robinson is shooting a career-high from the field.

There are just so many facets of Robinson’s game that have stood out this season.

He’s averaging the most of his career in rebounds, points, assists, steals, three-point makes. But, as mentioned, it’s the efficiency that shows his improvement. It’s also important to note his minutes are a sky-high as well.

He’ll either be up for a trade later this season or continue to put on a show in the Bay that could secure him a bag this upcoming offseason. The same can be said of Burks and Cauley-Stein though.

Burks is averaging a career-high 14.5 points per game, although he, unlike Robinson III, isn’t averaging the most minutes of his career. Burks, who scored 29 points, the third-most of his career, a few games ago, has been the team’s go-to scorer with D’Angelo Russell sidelined.

Although not putting up better numbers than last season, even Cauley-Stein has thrived with Golden State. In limited minutes, Cauley-Stein has shown his defensive prowess and could also be available in trade talks as the season progresses.

The Warriors didn’t sign these veterans to be long-term answers, and they’ll all reap the benefits of being the stars on a helpless Warriors team.

That said, it’ll be interesting if any or all gain trade interest as the season progresses.
