The Golden State Warriors are looking ahead to next season with revenge on their minds.

The injury bug has shown no remorse for the Golden State Warriors this season as the team has gotten off to a league-worst 3-14 start.

Although this season is essentially over for the Dubs, the franchise can still gain some valuable information through the next few months.

For starters, this is an excellent chance to test lineups and discover which players deserve a more permanent role with the team. Breakout start such as Eric Paschall and Damion Lee have proven they can have a positive impact on the floor.

Paschall is the most intriguing prospect the Warriors have had in recent years. After countless injuries opened up a path for the rookie to play in the starting lineup, Paschall has averaged 18.2 points per game.

Meanwhile, Alec Burks has continued to show that he is a valuable asset off of the bench. Burks scored a season-high 29 points against Memphis and is averaging 17.5 points per game across his last 10 games.

Once D’Angelo Russell returns from injury, he will get to test his talents as the Warriors number one option. He had some success briefly before being sidelined when he scored a career-high 52 points versus Minnesota.

By the end of the season, there is a chance that the Warriors will be able to run a few games with a lineup consisting of Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Russell. This is of course if the Warriors elect not to shut down Thompson and Curry for the remainder of the season.

If the Warriors do let their core players appear in a few games at the end of the year it will be good for the team moving forward. Any time these stars can get on the court together will be vital to building chemistry next season.

In the offseason, the Warriors will have a sandbox to play in. A potentially valuable draft pick, as well as plenty of star free agents, will make the summer of 2021 very interesting for Golden State.

Don’t count the Warriors out yet. This dynasty is still alive and could reawaken with a bit of good luck over the summer. The table is set for a massive comeback from the Warriors.
