The Golden State Warriors already have their next dynamic Big 3, and it starts with forward Eric Paschall and guard D’Angelo Russell.

There’s no denying that this season hasn’t kicked off the way the Golden State Warriors had hoped. After all, just take a look at their 4-16 record, and it’s easy to see that this just hasn’t been a pleasant ride.

But, there have been numerous silver linings around this horrific start. One of them is Eric Paschall. A second-round pick in 2019, Paschall has been one of the best rookies in the league this season.

Paschall is a 23-year-old power forward. In 19 games with 13 starts, Paschall has averaged 17 points per game. He’s proven that he can exploit both larger and smaller defenders, helping solidify his claim to being a top-tier player under 25.

Paschall is one of the three potential Big 3 for Golden State in five years, and D’Angelo Russell is another.

He’s currently averaging 24.3 points per game. Since Paschall spent five years at the college level including sitting out one to transfer, he’s the same age as Russell who is entering his fifth season in the league.

Russell signed a long-term, max-contract deal. He’s lived up to it so far but has been injured the last few weeks. Nonetheless, Russell has proven enough to be considered a cornerstone for Golden State’s bright future.

Russell and Paschall are two of the focal points for Golden State’s future. Their 2020 first-round pick will be their third. Players like Omari Spellman and Jordan Poole have yet to prove they can be trusted.

However, Anthony Edwards or LaMelo Ball may be able to do that quickly upon arrival in the league. The Warriors are on track to have the highest odds to win the lottery. While that’s far from guaranteed, the Warriors have been excellent at drafting recently.

Those two plus that pick should be a dominant force in the NBA for at least the next half a decade. Let’s also remember that next season Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green will be at full strength, potentially helping improve the team for another championship run.

The current Warriors and future Warriors are taken care of. Rest assured, Dub Nation, this team will good for quite a while to come.
