The stage is set for one hell of a revenge season for the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors are down and are being curb-stomped. The franchise has had a drastic fall off after five consecutive trips to the NBA Finals and is feeling the pain of being the worst team in the league.

Opposing teams and fans are rejoicing at the sight of the Warriors’ downfall. For years, fans watched in frustration as the Dubs dominated the league. Now that the tables have turned, people are loving it.

However, opponents should be wary of how they treat the Dubs this season as they will surely remember it next year when they are back to full strength.

Payback is coming for the Warriors. By the end of this season, Golden State will see the return of both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. These two All-Stars are more than enough to bring the Dubs back into title contention but it doesn’t stop there.

The loss of Kevin Durant obviously hurts, but the addition of D’Angelo Russell is better for the long run. At 23 years of age, Russell has plenty of time to carry the torch.

Of course, we have Draymond Green as well. Green may be a product of his environment but there is no arguing his effectiveness when surrounded by star teammates. Green will be seeking revenge on all of the people that are counting him out.

Above all else, the Warriors are set to land one of the top picks in the 2020 NBA Draft. This reality is something that has other teams “terrified” according to NBC Sports NBA Insider Tom Haberstroh.

This summer will be huge for the Dubs. Though the team is struggling now, the stars are aligning for a massive comeback season. The league should be on the lookout for a revamped Warriors team.
