The Golden State Warriors will receive a massive makeover next season.

Drastic changes are coming for the Golden State Warriors. The shock of their fall from grace will only be increased when the franchise bounces back even stronger next season.

The Dubs dynasty came crashing down in a series of unfortunate events. Massive injuries to Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins and Klay Thompson sent the Warriors home in the 2019 NBA Finals. More injuries and some key losses in free agency led the Dubs to a league-worst 5-23 start to the 2019-20 NBA season.

It is alarming how quickly the Warriors transformed from a powerhouse into a lottery team. In a matter of months, the Warriors went from reaching their fifth consecutive NBA Finals to being one of the worst teams in the league. It will be even more special when the Dubs return to the top of the mountain next season.

Soon, Curry and Thompson will make their return to the lineup. Combining to make a deadly starting lineup with Eric Paschall, D’Angelo Russell and Draymond Green, this unit alone will be enough to push the Dubs back into the forefront.

Furthermore, the Warriors struggled this season will hopefully pay off with a top pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. This pick will either be used to bring a promising prospect to the roster or traded in exchange for a solidified star.

The summer of 2020 will see the Dubs work hard to add more veteran talent to the squad. Filling out the rest of this team with experienced performers will be key to bringing the Warriors back into title contention.

With a fully healthy core of Curry, Russell, Green, Thompson and Paschall, the Warriors will be one of the best teams in the league. If they can manage to snag a top talent in the draft or trade for another supporting star, it will be hard to see any opponent standing in the Warriors way.
