The depleted Golden State Warriors will take on the James Harden-led Houston Rockets on Christmas Day, and it will likely be a memorable beatdown.

The Golden State Warriors have had a rough season. Throughout their first 30 games, the organization that’s been to five straight NBA Finals and have won three of the past five have are holding the league’s worst record.

At 6-24, the Warriors have already had a game flexed from ESPN this season. Christmas Day, we’ll see why television networks aren’t wanting to broadcast Golden State Warriors game. The Dubs will be taking on James Harden and Russell Westbrook‘s Rockets.

This game would’ve been incredible had Stephen Curry not been injured for multiple months in the Warriors’ fourth game of the season.

His broken left hand has left the Warriors without their superstar guard. Not to mention the way Curry ended the Rockets season without Durant on the court last season; this game would’ve been a revenge game for Houston.

However, Curry won’t be in the game and the Warriors will be left by D’Angelo Russell. These two teams have actually already played with the Rockets coming out on top with a 17-point victory as Harden put up 36 points.

On a tear these last few weeks, Harden has been dominant and is among the league’s best scorers. We haven’t even really mentioned Russell Westbrook who took over the Rockets game in an electric win over the LA Clippers a few days ago with a 40-point performance.

The Rockets will be coming for blood.

They’ll want to down the Warriors by 40 in a game that will be played in the Chase Center. The Chase Center’s special inaugural season has been ruined by injury, and Harden will do his best to make this game a memorable one.

It should actually aid Golden State that it could be memorable. Both likely present, Klay Thompson and Curry should remember this game. Next season, when they’re healthy and rested, they’ll remember what Harden and company did on their home court.
