Yes – reasons this defense is the real deal

1. Health

The Warriors are finally relatively healthy. They were forced to use some interesting lineups in the first part of the season due to injury, resulting in some embarrassing results.

A full-health Dubs squad should be better than what we’ve seen through the first third+ of the season and not be a bottom feeder in the defensive rankings.

2. Cohesion

The Warriors roster features many guys who have never played together prior to this year. Remember, Draymond, Looney, Damion Lee, and Jacob Evans are the only ones that have played for Kerr and know his system.

It takes time to meld as a team. With a couple of months under their belt, the Dubs are finally looking like they are playing as a unit and not as scatter-brained on the floor.

3. Youth

With the third youngest personnel in the league, the Warriors have a lot of inexperience. Experience will do wonders for these youngsters and provide a reason to believe that things can only go up from here.
