Draymond Green

The first is the pairing that makes the most sense for Golden State yet not so much for Minnesota. The Wolves obviously will be getting a king’s ransom with two first-round picks, one of which is almost guaranteed to be in the top-five.

The second first-round pick isn’t going to quite as valuable yet should be unprotected. Those two picks are the bulk of the fight, but secondly, the Warriors add in three-time All-Star Draymond Green who recently was awarded a max-value contract extension.

Green hasn’t been the same players that was such a dynamic threat in seasons before.

He just hasn’t found his rhythm with Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry all not on the roster. But, he is still one of the best two-way forwards in the league and should hold that value in trade talks.

The Wolves probably won’t be able to get much more than this. While a few pick swaps may also be ideal, there isn’t much more the Wolves can demand with an unhappy Towns potentially wanting out.
