D’Angelo Russell

The ideal situation for the Warriors is to pair the two young studs together.

As close friends, they’d likely make their home the Bay and be there for the bulk of their career. Neither has played with a star as dominant as the other excluding the first three games of the season in which Russell was able to play with Curry.

That said, combining the two forces should create a high-quality, championship-contending team. However, it may not be realistic since Russell is one of the Dubs only premier players that teams may consider trading for.

Russell and the pick, so theoretically Russell and Anthony Edwards or James Wiseman could be enough for the star center. It’d also depend on where that pick lands so this deal likely wouldn’t be finalized till after the NBA draft lottery.
