2. Al Horford
A defensive-minded big man with solid playmaking ability and consistent shooting, Al Horford is one of the league’s best available veterans.
Horford has made a career off of playing the game the right way. He is a great decision-maker and helped propel the Boston Celtics to two Eastern Conference Finals runs this decade.
Recently, Horford expressed his frustration with his newest team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Horford told reporters that he feels limited in his role. It’s clear the 76ers have built a mess of a team and might consider some trades to shake things up before the deadline.
If so, Horford should be at the top of the Warriors wishlist. He is more than capable of anchoring the Dubs defense and would bring a very interesting level of playmaking from the top of the key. Having Horford alongside Draymond Green seems like a recipe for success.
Even in his “limited” role, Horford is putting up 12.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. His 44 total 3-pointers this season places him eighth among players in his position.
