1. Karl-Anthony Towns
There is no doubt about it, if Karl-Anthony Towns is available in trades then the Golden State Warriors will be pursuing him.
Towns wasted no time becoming an elite center in the NBA. By his second season, Towns was averaging 25.1 points and 12.3 rebounds and became an All-NBA member one year later.
Despite his incredible development, the Minnesota Timberwolves have only managed to reach the postseason once. The franchise has failed to surround Towns with quality talent and risk losing him to frustration if this trend continues.
The Warriors are a dream destination for Towns. The Dubs would spread the floor effectively for Towns, allowing him to dominate in the paint where he shoots above 70 percent. Furthermore, he has shown a talent for stepping out beyond the arc and knocking down 3-pointers.
He isn’t the world’s best defender but his 1.3 blocks per game would be the second-most of any player currently on the Warriors roster.
Adding Towns to the Dubs makes them a dynasty once again. Golden State shouldn’t blink an eye if they have to give up D’Angelo Russell or their 2020 NBA Draft pick to acquire Towns.
