2. D’Angelo Russell

It’s obvious that D’Angelo Russell is the Golden State Warriors’ most valuable player in terms of trade talks.

A 23-year-old All-Star, Russell is an enticing prospect. For two straight years, the young gunner has made impressive strides forward as one of the best offensive threats in the game.

Russell has always had a knack for playmaking. He averages 6.3 assists for his career and ranked in the top 10 for assists per game last season. He is crafty with his ball handle and always has his head up looking for open teammates.

His most notable improvements have come in isolation scoring. Russell exploded last season as a scorer, showing off his range from deep and a soft touch in the lane with his floater. D-Lo’s scoring numbers have increased steadily for three consecutive seasons.

Both the Warriors and Russell have expressed interest in sticking together for the long haul. However, that doesn’t change the fact that he is easily the most tradeable player the Warriors have. It’s safe to assume that a majority of the league would make an offer to acquire Russell if he became available.
