3. Trading with New Orleans and Miami

First on our list is a frenzied attempt by the Golden State Warriors to replace the hole that Kevin Durant has left in their lineup.

For the Warriors:

This trade makes sense for the Dubs as they gain a talented forward in Brandon Ingram. The 22-year-old is averaging 24.9 points and has drawn comparisons to Durant for most of his career. Adding him to this roster is a great way to fill int heir hole at the forward position. Meanwhile, they gain a solid backup guard in Goran Dragic to bring some depth.

For the Heat:

The Heat have made it clear that they are looking to acquire a star-caliber point guard. Jrue Holiday is one player at the top of their wishlist for his elite two-way play. This deal not only brings Holiday to Miami but a 2020 1st Round Pick as well.

For the Pelicans:

Lastly, the Pelicans receive a young star in D’Angelo Russell. His fit alongside Zion Williamson makes sense moving forward for this franchise. This deal is completed with Justise Winslow being the finishing touch as a versatile playmaking wing to run alongside the Pelicans developing core.
