Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks, although they have a top bench, could also use the help of Burks.

Pat Connaughton, Sterling Brown, Donte DiVincenzo and D.J. Wilson are all quality forwards, but Burks may be the best in the pack, and the Warriors could certainly use a young forward if the Bucks value a swap more than giving up a pick straight up.

For a team that doesn’t necessarily need Burks, a first-round pick may be too high. A second-round pick and a player like Wilson may be enough to attract the Warriors into any offer, but Burks’ true value remains relatively unknown.

Burks is shooting too well, scoring too efficiently, and just overall making too much of an impact to not be sought after by every championship-caliber team. The Bucks need that next step on their roster, and Burks could be extremely important for their second unit this postseason.

It almost seems like “when” is more likely than “if” for the Warriors’ trading Burks.
