Jonah Bolden + future second-round pick
Another option is for the Warriors to secure Jonah Bolden instead of Shake Milton.
For Golden State, this is a better deal. However, the Sixers may want to hang onto Bolden for the potential he’s shown in the G-League. In his G-League debut, Bolden scored over 30 points and also sank five triples.
He’s going to be a threat at the highest level, but there’s still quite a bit of development that must take place before he reaches that level. He’s played in just two games for the Sixers this season, an extremely underwhelming amount.
On the flip side of the trade, the same is still true.
Shooting 45.4% from the field, Robinson has been productive and efficient. A lock-down forward, Robinson could be like the Sixers’ Robert Covington replacement, just not quite at his level on either end.
Why wouldn’t the Sixers do this? For the Warriors, you secure draft capital and a solid big man, so why not do it as well?
