The Golden State Warriors are going to be active as the February 6 trade deadline nears. Who they’ll actually be shopping is still to be determined.

There’s no denying this season has been a struggle for the Golden State Warriors.

They are still and likely will end as the Western Conference’s worst team. Had they been able to hang on a bit longer and win a few more games, the Warriors may have been able to see Stephen Curry return and light a spark under them, propelling them into playoff contention.

That’s just not looking possible in the team’s current situation.

Curry is still a good bit away from returning, and Klay Thompson may miss all of the 2019-2020 season as well. It’s just been a tough year, but after five straight Finals appearances, that’s acceptable.

They’re going to retool and be fine, returning to playoff contention next season.

However, for the few players that signed on this offseason with a passion to be a contributor on a championship team, they may either be waiting a year longer or be finding themselves on that team in the near future.

The names that come up are Glenn Robinson III, Alec Burks, and Willie Cauley-Stein. But, due to their poor play, Jacob Evans III and other young studs may also find themselves on the trading block.

That said, let’s dive into a few expendable assets the Dubs may look to trade in the coming weeks.
