Glenn Robinson III

Glenn Robinson III will be one of the hottest names on the trade market over the next few weeks, and its a combination of shooting, defense and value that will make him a pristine target for championship contenders.

Philadelphia, who has already shown interest in the forward, could use his shooting.

That’s one thing that’s stuck out not only to the Warriors this season but to the rest of the NBA as well. He’s nearing 40% from downtown. This will be his third season in six years in which he’s shot over 37.5% from downtown.

While he’s not quite the dominant two-way players that Minnesota expected when they drafted him, Robinson III has proven that he can contribute. Those triples have helped him increase his per game average to over 12 points, almost triple his previous average.

Add in that he’s on an expiring contract that’s only valued for the veteran’s minimum, and it’s easy to see why teams may look to target the wing. For now, nothing is too solid but expect that to change in the near future.
