It’s a sad time to be a Golden State Warriors fan.

There hasn’t been much of a reason for optimism this season for the Golden State Warriors.

Following one of the best five-year stretches in NBA history, the Warriors have plummetted to the bottom of the league standings. The five-time reigning Western Conference Champions won’t even reach the playoffs to defend their conference title this year.

Obviously, the silver lining is that Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will return next season. A healthy core of D’Angelo Russell, Draymond Green and the Splash Brothers is enough to be competitive again.

The Warriors have had some positives so far. Eric Paschall emerging as a Rising Star has been the biggest pleasant surprise of the season.

However, the year has been mostly filled with disappointment. Let’s break down the three biggest disappointments through the first half of the season.
