The Golden State Warriors should be active in the trade market with just a few weeks before the deadline. But, who should they target?
There’s no denying this season has been tough for the Golden State Warriors.
Although Stephen Curry is slated to return in the next 45 days, hope for this season is all but lost. After that fourth-game injury to Curry, it was obvious that this season wasn’t going to be a pleasant one.
D’Angelo Russell has missed time, Draymond Green has missed time, and Klay Thompson has yet to take the court for a regular-season game. That’s left players like Alec Burks, Glenn Robinson III, and Damion Lee to carry the load offensively.
All three of them have done well.
They’ve been able to do what’s been asked of them, and while the results haven’t been pretty, they’ve played themselves onto other team’s radar, potentially being dealt to a contender prior to the February 6 deadline.
Whether they are buyers or sellers, there no reason for the Warriors to sit idle.
They have the pieces to trade and they have at least a few targets they should inquire about. That being said, let’s breakdown three players the Warriors should look into trading for int he coming weeks.
