Karl-Anthony Towns

Still on the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Warriors have been monitoring Karl-Anthony Towns’ situation. He’s seemingly unhappy playing for an organization that has failed to create a winning culture around his outstanding play.

Towns is averaging almost 26 points per game. Looking at his third-straight All-Star appearance, the young center has taken his game to the next level, yet the team has been to just one postseason since his arrival.

If his outrage continues, the Warriors may be able to swoop in and offer both a player like Draymond Green and future valuable picks. They’d want to keep Russell as the two are close friends.

There is little potential for this trade to actually get done, but it one that’s been reported. The Warriors are monitoring the Wolves and the Wolves are engaging the Warriors. However, it’d be shocking to see a deal done.

KAT is certainly a top target, averaging 25.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.4 threes per game on over 40% from deep. Those are elite numbers, and the Warriors should be preparing a blockbuster offer for the 24-year-old.

The real question is: Will any of them actually be traded in the next month?
