Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets average the most threes in the NBA.

Their 15.2 is leading the league yet is almost an entire three less than their average last season. While there’s no need for another shooter, the depth at the three is something the Rockets should look into.

Eric Gordon is the team’s backup shooting guard and small forward, and Thabo Sefolosha is listed as the team’s backup power forward. Glenn Robinson III could slide in and be the team’s main option behind Ben McLemore who has revived his career in Houston.

Robinson is notching 12.3 points per game which is over double his previous career-high.

He’s doing it efficiently and effectively. Fitting well into the Warriors system, Robinson III could use his developed skillset on the Rockets, and his impressive three-point shooting would just. be another perk.

The Rockets need the depth, crave the shooting and have the assets to waste on a player like Robinson III. They, like the Lakers, still need to improve in order to have any chance at the league’s 2020 NBA Championship.
