The Golden State Warriors should be active prior to this year’s trade deadline, and they should consider these three trades as it approaches.

The worst team in the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors should be sellers not buyers as the February 6 trade deadline approaches.

The Warriors should be heavily involved in the trade market with numerous veterans that could all be dealt because of their low-value contracts. That wasn’t how the season was supposed to go though.

The fourth game of the season, Stephen Curry went down with a broken left hand. Then, D’Angelo Russell missed extensive time and the Warriors just couldn’t string off wins, going on several brutal losing streaks.

Struggling to find salary cap to sign veterans, the Warriors were forced to sign many players to the veteran’s minimum. They brought this upon themselves by securing three max-value contracts this past offseason.

In their current state, the Warriors aren’t even close to the playoffs. Even with Curry’s return on the horizon, there’s almost no real chance the Warriors make a postseason run. That’s why they should start looking into the trade market.

That said, let’s dive into three trades the Warriors should consider.
