The Golden State Warriors kicked off trade season by dealing Willie Cauley-Stein, and they could consider continuing it with these other trades.

There’s no denying this has been a tough season for the Golden State Warriors.

They’re dead last in the Western Conference, and they’re in last place by six games. On top of that, they’ve shown signs of potential, and if they could’ve stayed in the hunt until Stephen Curry’s return, they may have had a chance at the playoffs.

Curry has been out since the fourth game, Klay Thompson has yet to take the court, D’Angelo Russell has missed multiple weeks with injury. It’s all combined to give Golden State heartaches given just how dominant this team could be.

Players like Willie Cauley-Stein, who is now on the Mavericks, Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks were all signing onto a championship-contending team this offseason. Sadly, that’s just not where this team is at.

That’s why the Warriors traded Cauley-Stein. They have no need for him completely out of playoff contention. The same can be said of Robinson and Burks, two players that have thrived on Golden State yet are also on one-year contracts and may not return.

That said, with Cauley-Stein out, let’s dive into three other trades the Golden State Warriors should consider.
