Glenn Robinson III to the Rockets

The next player on the trading block after Cauley-Stein should be Glenn Robinson III. He does have a little more value. As typical with a higher-valued player, Robinson should be able to make a difference immediately.

On a team that shots 43.3 threes per game, it’s of utmost importance that the addition of Robinson III continues that dynamic. Let’s just say that it undoubtedly would as Robinson III is having the best three-point shooting year of his career.

Averaging 1.3 threes per game, a career-high, Robinson is nearing 40% from downtown. To go along with the more than double his previous career-high in points per game, it’s been a career year for the forward that signed for a veteran’s minimum this past offseason.

The Rockets need the depth.

Like the Boston Celtics, they have one of the worst-performing benches. The addition of Robinson III would give some much-needed defense and three-point shooting on a unit not oftentimes used.

He should be worth the picks for Houston.
