Like every other NBA franchise, the Golden State Warriors are mourning the loss of Kobe Bryant.
The Golden State Warriors are doing their best to cope with the aftermath of a tragic helicopter accident that took the lives of nine people including NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
Fans across the globe have been honoring Bryant’s legacy in different ways as everyone attempts to deal with their grief. Countless NBA players have paid tribute to the Black Mamba.
Following the devastating news, Trae Young took to the court wearing a No. 8 jersey out of respect for Kobe. Young went on to score 45 points on 24 shots while connecting on 81 percent of his free-throw attempts. A truly inspiring performance.
As for the Warriors, the entire organization is feeling the sting of this unexpected tragedy. On Monday, the team cut practice short as players and coaches were too “distraught” to continue their workout.
Stephen Curry took to social media to share their condolences with the Bryant family and everyone affected by the accident. Steph’s wife, Ayesha, also posted a picture in honor of Kobe and his daughter Gianna.
