Boston Celtics

There are a few specific traits that make an organization a perfect place for Burks.

One of them is opportunity which can typically best be seen by a team’s second unit performance. For Boston, they have one of the worst scoring benches in the NBA. The Celtics bench is averaging 28.8 points per game.

Burks is averaging almost 16 points per game. While it in on the Warriors who don’t have many other options, he’s still proving that he can get to the bucket and finish. That’s exactly what the seventh man on a championship-contending team looks like.

After the Celtics top-five scorers, Enes Kanter and Daniel Theis come into play. Both big men, the Celtics need second-unit scoring options on the perimeter. Semi Ojeleye, who has played in 43 games, is averaging just under three points per game. It’s obvious.

The Celtics need second-unit help, and for a low-value first-round pick, Burks could be the perfect addition.
