NBA 2K20 is frequently updating their game. How have the Golden State Warriors changed throughout the year?

In years prior, it would be an unwritten rule that nobody was allowed to play with the Golden State Warriors in NBA 2K due to their overwhelming star power. In NBA 2K20, no one wants to choose the Dubs anyways.

The Warriors have fallen off drastically. Major roster changes along with significant injuries to Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry have left the five-time reigning Western Conference Champions at the bottom of the NBA food chain.

Last year, the Dubs ranked as the top team in NBA 2K. Since then, the franchise has been hit with catastrophic injuries and key free agency losses to drop them all the way down to an 83 overall and the bottom tier in the game’s PlayNow Online mode.

In terms of general player overalls, the team has seen a few drastic changes throughout the season. The most notable change occurred to rookie Eric Paschall, who began the season as a 71 overall but has since jumped to 79.

Paschall had few expectations entering the league as a late second-round draft but quickly became a Rising Star with averages of 13.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

The Warriors’ three highest-rated players remain Stephen Curry (95), Klay Thompson (89) and D’Angelo Russell (87). Both of the Splash Brothers have seen no change to their overall ratings as injuries play no effect. Meanwhile, Russell has increased and decreased slightly but currently sits with his original rating to begin the season.

Only one player on the roster has gotten worse this season and that is Draymond Green. The former Defensive Player of the Year is having a tough time without his star supporting cast and has had his overall rating dropped from an 86 to an 85.

Other players to improve this season are Alec Burks (+3), Damian Lee (+3), Omari Spellman (+2) and Glenn Robinson III (+1). Aside from that, every other player has remained the same.

As we enter the second half of the season, hopefully, we will see more improvements for the Dubs.
